This battle is far from over.

Politicians and law makers need to fully understand that technology itself is not the answer to enforce laws and policies which aims to protect citizens.

First then, such proposals will stop to surface.

And that's the challenge ahead of all #privacy fighters. To educate people about the fundamental difference between laws, policies and technology.

Technology is just a tool. It doesn't change what we think or what we do. Unless the chilling effect is the end goal.

@dazo @Tutanota politicians do not understand. They are owned by global think tanks who push the same agenda in various countries at once.

The solution to this is to prosecute the ones who proposed such a cybersecurity crime, so they do not dare again.

@dazo @Tutanota I see EE are advertising optional child protection facilities on their phones so if people want their children to be protected, they can order the programs.
Statutory Government obligation is overkill.
