I get a chance to talk to a local club of mostly teens and young adults soon, so I get to introduce them to two of my favourite texts about organizations: the CIA's Simple Sabotage manual, and Issendai's classic "Creating a Sick System".

One of the great gifts we can give kids early in their careers is a language for recognizing when these things are being done to them, so they can see this class of things for what they are.

@mhoye the simple sabotage manual is kind of having a moment, so definitely familiar with that one. I had not heard of the "creating a stick system" easy before; thanks for that link!
