Excellent day at Revival yesterday. The cars & bikes were as ever fantastic, the camper vans fun, the lunchtime talk by Dita fascinating, and some fun bands & shopping - but I was glad at the end of the day to take the tie off and loosen the top button on shirt 🏎️

I love the Revival Weekend!
Life stuff tends to get in the way around this time of year, but it's on the bucket list!
It's a fantastic all round event, the only word of caution I would give is if you are purely focused on the cars & the racing Members Meeting is probably better in terms of attending in person but if you plan on making more of a weekend of it all the extra non-motorsport entertainment at Revival certainly can make it a better event for those that don't live, eat, sleep motorsport (translation I prefer attending Members Meeting but my girlfriend prefers attending Revival 😐)
Both events are fantastic fun so I do hope you manage to get to one them sometime 🙂
Not disputing that there are a some pavilions that cost more than I'd be willing to pay or that you need a large fortune to run some of the cars racing there but there is plenty of fabulous entertainment (including bands, cinema, talks, and of course the cars) available to regular ticket holders. While this is a bit like comparing Apples & Pears I generally consider Goodwood events better value than some music festivals I attend… and the livestream is free so subsidising no one 🙂
that said if anyone just wants a weekend of top class racing there are still some very reasonably priced tickets available for the ELMS event this weekend at Silverstone 🙂
