C’est ce que prononce l’installation dans une des 48 langues qu’elle analyse dès que le mot « Dieu » apparaît sur les serveurs du réseau social Twitter. L’installation nous invite à discerner l’utilisation de ce mot sur Twitter, avec toutes les imprécisions que cela comprend. Car le mot « Dieu » n’existe pas dans toutes les religions, ni dans toutes les langues, ni dans toutes les cultures. De plus, l’usage de ce mot n’a pas nécessairement une connotation religieuse mais peut tenir de l’expression quotidienne. Le dispositif montre la simplification des discours par les réseaux sociaux, schématisant un concept si complexe en un simple hashtag ou mot-clé. Noriyuki Suzuki fait éclater les contours de la perception de Twitter, débridant la limite de la langue d’accès et d’un fonctionnement par bulles thématiques.

This is what the installation says in one of the 48 languages it analyzes as soon as the word "God" appears on the servers of the social network Twitter. The installation invites us to discern the use of this word on Twitter, with all the inaccuracies that this includes. For the word "God" does not exist in all religions, nor in all languages, nor in all cultures. Moreover, the use of this word does not necessarily have a religious connotation but can be an everyday expression. The device shows the simplification of discourses by social networks, simplifying such a complex concept into a simple hashtag or keyword. Noriyuki Suzuki explodes the contours of the perception of Twitter, unbridling the limit of the language of access and of an operation by thematic bubbles.
