Well, I just got laid off from my job. If anyone needs a talented embedded systems engineer or hardware engineer with strong experience in video hardware, send me a message with details of a job opening and I can provide a CV. Remote work preferred, but I can work anywhere in central Minnesota. Boosts welcome and encouraged.
@spinach damn that sucks

hope you can find something soon

@spinach

I'm sorry. I hope something as good or better comes along quickly.

@spinach We might be hiring video people but I'm not sure. Things are tight at the moment but video might be one of the exceptions. I'll ask around.

@gfxstrand @spinach Collabora? There are 4 open positions listed:

I applied myself recently. It took about 3 weeks to get a first reply with an invite for a screening interview, took anorher 10 days or so to have it, then another two weeks later, I had a (nice) somewhat technical interview, then a month of radio silence, and when I asked, I was told hiring processes were in change, and a day later I got a fully generic decline.

Hope it'll be a nicer experience for you.
