You probably didn't check where @evawolfangel is going today... That is a rookie mistake that happens to everyone every now an then when we get used too much to anything else but Deutsche Bahn....
Not sure how good your WiFi is (probably none) but maybe you find this awesome talk to understand how bad it actually is with decent subtitles?
@blackcoffeerider Ya, the train conductor was also like "Girl, this train gets cancelled all the time. You should've known that! You should've checked the train schedule before you left." and I was like "this train was cancelled literally 5 minutes ago and its cancellation isn't even in the Deutsche Bahn app yet."
I mean: I planned my travels such that I have 4 hours leeway in case of heavy Deutsche-Bahning, so it will be more uncomfortable, but I guess I'll get to my destination eventually, but I was still optimistic, for some reason...
Sorry to hear... The problem imho is that the DB is 50% privatised and 50% state owned. So one side thinks money saving the other one service... But you never know which side someone in management is so nobody talks to anyone ever...
