Holy moley I think I managed to successfully transplant the hairspring of a balance with a broken staff in a balance with a kinked hairspring and made a functional balance complete.
Fingers for scale.
Horology is scary. And fun.

@jamon So, yes, the graft kind of worked, but unfortunately the balance wheel wasn't as good as I thought, and a pivot appears to be damaged. While troubleshooting I kinked the hairspring a bit, so I'll have to try and manipulate it to salvage the thing.
I have a third Lorsa P62 with a functional balance complete (with shock-protection), so I will manage to get a working movement out of this once I've cleaned up all the parts.
@jamon Oh yeah I'm definitely going to try to manipulate that hairspring back into shape.
Yesterday I took this thing apart and put it back together with mitigated success. First time having a close look at a calendar complication.
Well, that watch had no hairspring and no pallet fork. I wasn't able to properly settle the pivots in the main bridge so I might go back to it someday for extra practice, but that was a rather unpleasant movement to work on (corners were cut to keep the cost low, and that showed).
I managed to put the calendar works back together though, and understood how it did the thing, so that's a win.
