Western leaders have appeased Donald Trump since he returned to power, only to be hit with new demands after every concession.

On Tuesday, Trump declared economic war on countries that regulate its tech companies. It’s time for the world to break from the US and aggressively target Silicon Valley.

it has been said before he was even reelected: he is the best thing that has happened to the European project.

The capture of politicians left and right by bigtech and the dramatic lock-in of citizens, businesses and public sector was a given.

This humiliation and overt coercion is a potent shock. If Europe has still a pulse and a firing neuron it will have to do something. Ofcourse it may not, but that too is good to know.
