I have over an hundred pairs of pliers but the pair on the left is my favourite. I have few treasures from my parents and this is one of them. Besides their history, I love them because they are small, sturdy, have square jaws with no texture. I haven't been able to find any like them until today when I fished those on the right out of a bin at the flea market. I'm delighted. 1/2

Piggleston Pecanpants

I placed my flea market pliers in some organic rust remover and they came out looking much like they went in, which is much like my old pliers but once I went over them with steel wool, they became more silver. There's a small bit missing but from the left handle but it won't affect their use. I debated giving my original pliers the same treatment but that bronze colour is the patina of my ancestors.
