🇨🇦 SteveI don't think I noticed when it first happened, but noticed today that the standby time on my iPad on the iPadOS 26 beta is much better than it used to be… even compared to before I installed the first iPadOS 26 beta. It used to not make it through a day. #iPadOS26
Dariusz Rybicki@tewha I set up an automation in shortcuts that turns off Wi-Fi and mobile data, and enables low power mode late evening. Then another automation that reverts it in the morning. It improved battery life significantly, also on iPadOS 26 beta. My iPad Pro is almost 7 years old, and still holds almost a week without charging if I don’t use it much.

The battery on this one used to go down about 10% per hour, even if I didn't touch it.
@tewha It happens to me every time I update to a beta. Thankfully it returns to “normal” after some time, usually around 24h.
