i’ve put it in denatured alcohol for degreasing and actual cleaning. not sure how long tho’? it’s a lot cleaner already, rust aside.

Jigme Datse@moira Saw something comparing evaporust to "home brew" from a firearms channel. The home brew was "sodium neutralized" citric acid. The claim was that was significantly better, and significantly cheaper. But it certainly is a "more effort" thing. The sodium that had was baking soda, washing soda, sodium hydroxide lye. I think I have a link somewhere.
