Even with the league’s reputation for #NWSLafterDark chaos I never could have predicted this outcome.
For more than an hour I thought Chicago was going to be destroyed (literally and figuratively given the injuries and the scoreline) but somehow they clawed their way back and Alyssa Naeher has her first (and likely her only ever) goal of her career. Amazing!

@shauna She was so frustrated with the ref earlier in the match so it was really nice to see such a happy ending. Her first and only goal (only two other keepers in the league have scored a goal: Betos and Bixby) on her 200th cap in the NWSL.
