Even with the league’s reputation for #NWSLafterDark chaos I never could have predicted this outcome.
For more than an hour I thought Chicago was going to be destroyed (literally and figuratively given the injuries and the scoreline) but somehow they clawed their way back and Alyssa Naeher has her first (and likely her only ever) goal of her career. Amazing!
I keep saying this but I love this league 😅

Jameese Joseph wasn’t the one to score a goal but since she’s come on Chicago has played a lot better and have scored two goals.
The first hour was dire but this feels hopeful.
