if walking hurts you can just get a wheelchair. or a cane or a walker. it does cost money but you don't need a prescription
i am working on getting better so i can walk further by doing stretches and exercises but i don't need to deny myself the pleasure of going places just because im not there yet
it doesn't take any resources away from "real disabled people" to use tools made for them before you're ready to call yourself disabled personally
Temerity@nora not deaf or hard of hearing but you can pry subtitles out of my cold dead hands. It helps me pay attention and absorb what I am hearing better. Accessibility helps everyone.
