So, #SkullandBones is on sale. 8€ are OK for the game that unfortunately wasn't the big AAA adventure world it wanted to be. But for this price it is fun enough to play despite its flaws. Perfect for casual "jump-ins and have some funsies".

It tries to hide the mainly grinding gameplay of "do stuff and bring it there to get this currency to buy the bigger thing" behind a kind of lore-story, i counted four separate currencies so far plus material-currency for crafting.

But sinking ships is fun.

I like my new slightly bigger ship 🙂 #SkullandBones

I'm positively surprised. I didn't expect too much, but even with all its purely grindy gamecycles it's still fun to play.

My current fleet:

the Schooner is my work horse. For its size it is fast and agile and with its specialisation for broadsides perfect against convoys.

The Garuda is a sniper and hunter. Not as agile as the first, but fast and has a bonus for hits from far away. Armor is noticeably weaker, so its recommended to keep distance to heavy hitters.

The Barque is for teamplay. It heals friendlies nearby, increases the effect of healing weapons and is crazy fast and agile.
