Tried a fresh start (new XBox account) on #skullandbones - the Ubisoft Pirate game.

Seen folk claiming they needed help, that it was hard, that you can’t level up, etc.

Would Just like to say - bollocks! 😂

10 hours in, (unassisted, unboosted) and I have a level 12 ship and, if it wasn’t for the story-lock, would be ready for Tier 2! It is SO much easier now than 2 years ago. And the new cutscenes and New Player Experience made it a lot more fun.

Now, just have to work through all the story missions before I move to the ‘hard’ area and get more upgrades. BUT I could easily do it in Tier 1 with the way it is now. Upgrade kits, ascension modules, etc., all drop there now, or are gifted in level-up chests.

Still one of my favourite games.

Skull and Bones (UbiSoft age of sail Piracy game) is on Steam sale for £5 at the moment. Until 26th March iirc. You only require the base game.

I have around 1,000 hours in that game. Just thought I’d mention it for anyone who enjoyed the sailing parts of AC4.

Not an AC game, but great fun, and it would be very hard not to get a fiver’s worth out of it. Honestly. Fighting. Quests. Ship building. Design your own playstyle/boat. Cosmetic store, no pay-to-win, in its third year now and loads of content rotating in and out every couple of weeks..

Open world, solo, team up, PvE or PvP or both. Your choice. Also has a free demo.
