@pomCountyIrregs @PurpleJillybeans pretty sure it was Westinghouse, not Edison. Edison's preference was DC as far as I know

@pomCountyIrregs @PurpleJillybeans my understanding is that Westinghouse did generation and transmission. Based on wiki Tesla sold/licensed his motor and transformer designs to Westinghouse who built the power plants and distribution network.
