Turns out, Chlamy can manipulate biflagellar dominance not only through beat waveform, phase, but also beat plane (!), in response to light stimuli. This extra degree of freedom, not often appreciated, leads to a highly robust navigation strategy spanning several orders in effective diffusivity!
