@bagder @linuxfoundation Note that while Google doesn't even appear as one of the top-tier members, a large portion of the top- and second-tier members are Android phone and SoC vendors. So, effectively, all Google. All representing Google's interests in control.

@dalias @bagder Google was also actively doing meetings with different government's lawyers at ICANN 2016 summer conference. They're relatively quiet about lobbying activities but are present in a lot of places.

Linux Foundation itself has been a front for Intel and Nokia in the past, for example buying domain names from individuals before large corporations announced OSS projects.
