Sean@thibault @bagder Because big tech companies are the Linux community the foundation represents; the ones dumping money and resources into the kernel and the foundation and its other projects. They don't care about the Linux user you'd find on Mastodon because ultimately we're a fraction of a fraction of the Linux ecosystem, and more importantly, there's no money in us.
Which isn't to say their stance isn't stupid, it is - but they don't represent our interests.
