And that's that.
And that's that.
I did lose patience with the last level, I pretty much just wanted to get it finished, and killed a lot of witches.
The final fight was kind of bullshit. I managed to cheese it by scattering stun mines.
A lot of the game really irritated me, but I really enjoy sneaking up behind people and incapacitating them, and I loved the parts where I got to do that. Disliked the clockwork soldiers.
Still rather irritated by Emily just ruling over this incredibly corrupt, brutal, autocratic empire, with police who kill on a whim, and a church who persecutes people who do not conform, but it's all okay somehow because I got her back in power. But she's the lesser of two evils compared with Delilah.
I thought Delilah's characterisation was a little sad. She had legitimate grievances that could have been interesting to explore, but they just went with "power-mad lunatic".
Anyway, at its core, it's a fun stealth game. I'm certain the magic powers would have totally ruined it and made it far too easy, as they did with the first game, and I'm grateful for the option to skip all that. The level where you jump back and forward in time was bad enough.
