I’m not saying it’s ideal, and I understand your point…but it’s better than not paying. This is just a typical transaction with extra steps.
In case anyone is wondering, you can add the .exe to steam via games -> add non steam game.
Then once added go to game properties -> compatibility-> force compatibility -> proton
Idk if you need to force it or not but that’s what i did and it’s working
Not sure how I feel about the dev using the internet archive to distribute the game.
By the way, who put it in the “Community software” collection? The game is not open source.
