We can't keep going down this path. It's time to change course. It's time to make fossil fuel corporations pay for the damage they've caused.
Join us in our call to hold the biggest polluters accountable. #MakePollutersPay
@greenpeace They should pay, of course. But what's next? A world without plastic or medicine?
@Kraehe_ at least we'll have enough bullshit, because you will be providing it.
@jasper no no don't make me wrong. But firstly they have earned enough from destructing the planet to get at governments or other NGOs like WWF, etc. so we need more people to join the green career. However, if u cannot provide a new blueprint, it will be hard to persuade others. And if we win, we need a plan to avoid other oil operations catch the tide to rise again. It's very very important to think about what's next
@jasper direct action is vital and I never doubt Greenpeace about that. But I wonder whether they have a exact plan or not to turn the world into a real green economy instead of Bullshit like "sustainable oil extraction" by BP and Nature Conservancy

@Kraehe_ what's a blueprint, even? There are lots of chemical processes and ways they can pollute, an overview is hard to get.

Also such an overview would likely convince basically no-one, because the only people who would look at this complicated thing already know.

Ultimately the priorities need to change, which means adaptation and change of processes, materials. Often more expensive products or some inconvenience like re-use bottles. Or.. and this one is hardest, lower profits.

@jasper Perhaps u are right, and I do hope so. I am always afraid of that, we try and try but it is still too late. Maybe the most terrible problem of mine is I can't even convince myself that I am doing something meaningful
