Jonathan Capehart explains why he has now left Jeff Bezos' Washington Post, siphoning yet more brilliance and truth from that cesspool of a journalistic enterprise:
"We’re supposed to ignore [what's happening to the country under Trump]? Leave it to others to wrestle with on their news pages and websites? No, no, no, no, no, said in 'Get Out.'”
Those attacking me for pointing to a statement Jonathan Capehart made at Substack about choosing to leave Washington Post seem to have missed the point that Jonathan Capehart made that statement at Substack.
I refuse to play these divisive purity games in which ostensible leftists beef up the agenda of the hard right by attacking allies — because I have neither the privilege nor the luxury of playing those games. Try them with me and I'll hit the mute button.
