ComputerCraft (yes, the original) might have been created by someone british, because the names contain "colour" instead of "color". CC: Tweaked turned all the function's names into american english, but they had to keep the british ones for backwards compatibility.
I also like how in their page for "colour", they explicitly say "for lovers of British spelling".
