Existing provider is getting stale and stupid and runs way too much reprehensibly terrible old Unix software with some of the shittiest fucking user interfaces I have ever seen. (Wife's email is currently unavailable because of a "server error", the message with the details is not copy-pastable and is also ephemeral so better screen-shot-it-quickly. Fuck the fucking fuck who ever thought this was good UX.)
Ware Adams@dr2chase I've used both Fastmail and LuxSci for years, and both are quite good. Fastmail has a much better web UI if you use that for mail, and it is probably better for families where you are supporting e.g. parents or kids (you can assume their account easily). LuxSci lets you share space among all users (so space is effectively cheaper) and has useful API if you are automating setups.
