30 July issue of ‘Science’ has a bunch about making ‘quantum’ computers with ‘single atoms’.
This is one of the most insane, stupid things imaginable. I know WITH CERTAINTY BEYOND ANY SCIENTIFICALLY REASONABLE DOUBT that there is no such thing as a ‘quantum’ computer, except in the imaginations of physicists and electrical engineers (besides me and some others). This is because there is no such thing as ‘entanglement’. The 2022 Nobel Prize was awarded for incorrect papers.
You say the papers were peer-reviewed, I say, ‘So what!’ I say the papers are still wrong. And you can go to my website (it is in my bio) and find programs and writings that prove they are wrong.
The chief difficulty is that quantum physicists will not care, because they are a pseudoscience cult. You laugh? That’s your problem. If you are actually interested in science, you WILL investigate what I say. But it is YOUR problem to investigate. It is not MY problem whether you do or do not.
So, how is it that ‘quantum’ computers come up with a result?
Very simple. They are the equivalent of ‘Wait a little while, then press Enter’. And then you get the result of sampling some VERY, VERY EXPENSIVE and VERY, VERY SHAKILY COHERENT analog approximations of clocked digital counters.
Which can never, ever, ever achieve the speeds predicted by the stupid, stupid, STUPID theory that assumes the existence of ‘entanglement’.
There is no such thing as instantaneous action at a distance.
THAT IS WHY THERE ARE GRAVITY WAVES!
Because there is no such thing as action at a distance!
This is not ‘proof of Einstein’s theory’. Einstein ASSUMED the existence of gravity field! Because Einstein did not believe in instantaneous action at a distance.
The chief complaint about Newton’s theory was it had action at a distance. The solution to this was to apply Maxwell’s method: a field. The math representation of contact-action. Which Einstein did.
There is no action at a distance.
Don’t come at me with ‘I have a PhD in quantum field theory’. Because I have a self-figured-out in what-you-will-refuse-to-look-at. Which shows you are stupid, unless you actually will look at it. I am not impressed by your PhD.
I shan’t even bother to tell you what diplomas I have, because it is irrelevant. Your diploma is meaningless to me. You have a diploma in pseudoscience.
If we cannot talk to each other like two intelligent humans, rather than PhD-in-quantum to non-PhD, then eff you.
Anyway the 2022 Nobel Prize was awarded to physicists for their work in RANDOM PROCESS ANALYSIS. In particular John Clauser, and by proxy for John Bell. At which both Bell and Clauser were thoroughly unqualified and utterly incompetent. As were the peer reviewers, no doubt, and have been quantum physicists since. Because it is not their field.
(How to explain signal processing engineers falling for it I do not know.)
