Internet Archive Is Now a Federal Depository Library

Internet Archive, a nonprofit library based in San Francisco, has been given federal depository status. The designation was given by California Senator Alex Padilla, in a letter sent to the Government Publishing Office.

The fact that something is becoming federal under the current government raises many doubts and questions.
Given that the present administration is attempting to censor, restrict access to, or even delete items (articles, books, documentaries) that do not align with their ideology.
