Made an OS/2 Warp 3-ish theme for my X11 window manager and finally added support for showing application icons in the top left corner.

Unfocused windows have a slightly darker border (unlike in OS/2), which helps me identify which window has focus.

(The WM is keyboard-driven only, hence I left out the minimize/maximize buttons in the right corner.)

#OS2

(Is X11 #RetroComputing yet?)

I really hated how Warp 3 changed the design. 2.0 and 2.1 had sunken in menu entries, no launchpad (or explorer-like desktop bar as in warp 4), icons with shadows and green title bar and coloured frame. In total it was a much more 3D-looking thing with just one way to do things (by default).
Off course you could change the colours easily. But the rest?
@solon @movq Were you using a different version of Warp 3? As far as I can tell, the 3d effects didn't change between OS/2 2.1 and Warp 3.
Warp 4 changed the visuals a lot, and not always for the better, but apart from updated colours, the controls didn't change much between OS/2 2.1 and Warp 3.

Hmm, it looks like you are right and my memory wrong. I somehow remember that 2.1 was my favourite version. But the reason now seems vague.

I should get my CDs out and install those versions.
