I haven't used this content warning here for quite some time, for that matter I haven't posted here in ages. but I'm currently preparing to sit for the Salesforce Platform App Builder certification. If all goes well I should be sitting in August or possibly September, then I want to do Business Analyst and AgentForce, which is basically the Salesforce AI product. So the other day myhusband, who is taking this course with me, and i worked for practically 9 hours on putting together a sharing and security model for the project we are working on as part of the class. I reel pretty good about the fact that we were really pretty close to what the instructors released for us to build out for this week's homework. it's going to get really fun though, because from next week on, not only will we write out the way it should go, but we are to actually implement our models. I think this is good and the fact that we get to focus on kind of our own specializations. Mike is envious of me because I got the hang of flows so quickly in the admin class. Maybe I can work with him on that while strengthening my own knowledge. Then again he also teaches said admin class now, i'm pretty proud of him for that of course. So we may be helping each other.
@NEOSportsMama holy hell! look who decided to show there mug out here in the wild! I can't even think the last time we saw a post from you! I hope all is well with you?
@JamminJerry *snickers* I know, I know, Mike and i both have been pretty bad about keeping in touch with people. Let's see, other than losing my job and realizing tha I actually wanted to be in Salesforce for work instead of doing a lot of the accessibility consultant things. Not that i don't think those things are important, I just kinda missed being in Salesforce, so I made sure my admin cert was continued with the maintenence modules and now i'm studying for SF cert number 3. Let's see ... outside of the prfessional stuff, my father-in-law has been dealing with esophigal cancer, too, so it's been kind of up and down, but we're making it.
@NEOSportsMama sounds like a lot of stuff your way.
@JamminJerry Maybe, but that still doesn't make it okay to not be in touch with people haha.
@NEOSportsMama I still have my ASL node that people that have allstar, or echo link can connect to if you still have the info I gave you for both of those.
@JamminJerry I think it's sstill somewhere in this pile of messages i still have. haha. I literally don't keep the socials up like I used to. i actually need to poke my husband. A friend of his was going to send us a hot spot once one of us got our generals. he, got his general in march. I'm close to ready to sit for my general but right now I'm trying to decide when I can justify the $15 for the online exam, you know, since I don't have this thing called work right now and things are tighter for me than I'd like.
@NEOSportsMama I completely and totally understand that one. me personally I am happy with my tech lisence. smile.
@JamminJerry See, here, if we wanna get super involved with RACES, or here it's AuxComm, but ... anyways, if we really wanna get involved with that, they at least want us to have our generals.
@NEOSportsMama @JamminJerry you probably lost mine to, but if you want either of us, just run our calls through status.allstarlink.org
