A fun loving lady who lives in Indianapolis. I have 2 beautiful girls and an amazing husband who are my everything.
I haven't used this content warning here for quite some time, for that matter I haven't posted here in ages. but I'm currently preparing to sit for the Salesforce Platform App Builder certification. If all goes well I should be sitting in August or possibly September, then I want to do Business Analyst and AgentForce, which is basically the Salesforce AI product. So the other day myhusband, who is taking this course with me, and i worked for practically 9 hours on putting together a sharing and security model for the project we are working on as part of the class. I reel pretty good about the fact that we were really pretty close to what the instructors released for us to build out for this week's homework. it's going to get really fun though, because from next week on, not only will we write out the way it should go, but we are to actually implement our models. I think this is good and the fact that we get to focus on kind of our own specializations. Mike is envious of me because I got the hang of flows so quickly in the admin class. Maybe I can work with him on that while strengthening my own knowledge. Then again he also teaches said admin class now, i'm pretty proud of him for that of course. So we may be helping each other.
So the past little bit of down time:
Me: Doo dah doo dah doo, I'm just playing around with ham radio because I'd actuly like to see if we can get on the same talk groups or what not while Mike is gone.
Note, he's a Salesforce instructor with BIT and class is finished on Thursdays at 3:00 PM, so we're doing this off and on since then.
Me: I'll finish this up and grab a nap before they bring Lizzy home from King's Kids, where she's been happily playing and learning and eating and, hopefully, napping, while Mommy is working.
About 2 minutes after I say that, my ham radio scans to one of the repeaters where they do some semblence of the Big Ben chimes at the top of the hour, then I hear, it's 17:00.
Me: Oh crap, there goes my nap ... I'll be pretty tired after I get her to bed and teach...
Um, also, how is everyone today? LOL. Where are my dang manners?
This is specifically for my fellow blind ham radio operators who use the Open GD 77 software. How on God's green earth do you set up a DMR repeater in your code plug to be able to talk on a talk group? Indianapolis has 2 DMR repeaters, and especially while my husband is out of town, we're trying to figure out how we can enjoy the hobby together, not to mention use DMR round the world.
Good morning!
This sickness could go shove off at any time now. I can't sleep because my throat is hurting, to the point of making my eyes water. As I type this, the hubby is sleeping beside me and I only hope I'm not waking him up. Ugh.
The Dial-A-Story phone line makes storytime for children available on the phone all day, every day — in English or Spanish — at 833-690-0646. The stories change every Wednesday.
This project is made possible by a grant from the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services. It is managed by the Library of Virginia Library Development and Networking Division.
You know, I'm looking at the on this day posts. It's so sad when some of the highlights include murders on religious holy days and mass shootings at airports. Sadly, both of which are more prevalent today than ever.
One holiday! Just one freakin' holiday, I want to not be sick! My stomach started giving me fits on Christmas Day, and yesterday Lizzy and I both started running fevers! Now if Mike can not get sick too that would be amazing, especially since he's going to see his elderly parents in a couple of weeks and the last thing we want is for them to get sick.
Wait a minute ... foldable iPad? And iPhone? All righty then.
