What would summer’s haikus talk about without the cicadas?
I miss their screams in Caracas: they went extinct ten or more years ago.
@alfiegoodrich But look how lightly the surfers and swimmers float on the very top of 326 million trillion gallons (really!) ocean water. And look how few, and how dim, our lights are when contrasted with the blazing flame of a single sunset.
(Not saying that any of that is what you intended, or anything like that. Just some deep ecological thinking on a Wednesday night, powered by some lovely photos. Thanks, as always, for sharing!)
