@marcoarment @gruber they use Figma and Sketch hours a day I’m sure. Notably two apps that do not use hardly any native UI and are designed to clearly separate their UI from your content. They don’t feel any of this.

And having worked with designers a long time. Screenshot based design is hard to shake. When you can cherry pick content you can make a lot of mistakes.

@rileyslidey sketch is plenty native but it’s UI is far from typical. It has two sidebars made up of nearly 100% custom UI designed to be fully separate from your content aka your designs.
@ryanpoolos hm, I’m forcing the redesign on the app using a terminal command and it seems to update accordingly, maybe it’s a custom layout using native controls?
