Thanet ViewsDownpour in St. Peters
On Saturday, a friend and I took the bus to St. Peter’s. Don’t worry, we put it back again.
We took a look at Mocketts Wood and the Churchyard nearby. It seems like the powers that be are doing some rewilding and reorganising in the woods. Some paths were closed and others were “fenced off”. This all-natural way to fence areas off promotes new growth and wildlife diversity, both of which are good things.
While we were looking around, the heavens opened and we got utterly soaked in moments. At one point, as we were getting out of St Peter’s and back to the nearest bus stop, the water on the pavements was flowing ankle deep. I have never been so glad to have been wearing boots.
