1 hour progress: i could correct some of the wonkiness, made him slightly beefier. Anatomy study will definitely come next for this line of work

@morgunkorn that's really great !!!!
@mimosa  it was worth leaving it for a bit yesterday, came back to it with fresh eyes this morning
@morgunkorn it's always good to take a pose to have a new look at your artwork ( also you can flip the Canva when working on it by pressing parameter -> canvas -> flip) it really helps to see the errors
@mimosa yes that helps a lot! i added it to the quick menu when squeezing the stylus, weird how the brain works ^^
@morgunkorn oh !! Didn't know you had the squeeze feature !! From what I've seen it's really helpful !! The one time I tried it on the hardware store it was set up to the "find layer" feature and I loved it !

@mimosa yeah i got the pencil pro, and i'm waiting for a special screen protector + pen tips that gives the effect of drawing on paper, with a similar texture and grit, apparently it's excellent

Paperlike's iPad Screen Protector (2 pack)

@morgunkorn I've heard of it but somehow I kinda like to keep the screen feeling. Since I'm on a completely different medium than trad art, I find it more logical to keep a different feeling than on paper, no matter how good is it reproduced
@mimosa yeah it's different, it just felt weird to whack the screen of a brand new ipad with a pointy stick, i'll test it :)
@morgunkorn if it can help, this is mine after 3 and a half years of whacking it daily and bringing it to uni
@mimosa freshly washed with the dishes
@morgunkorn Always remember to wash your ipad with a lot of water, its important to elongate it's lifespan
@morgunkorn Looking great!
@Apatapa ty very much! i'm happy with the current shape, worked a bit on the hands, it's
a big project to do a full body

@morgunkorn ahaha yep, yep it is

Have you practiced anatomy much before?

@Apatapa no zero, it's my first experience, i did another sketch friday night that got a bit saucy but it's not looking correct and i couldn't fix it
@morgunkorn you're doing amazing for someone coming new to anatomy!
@Apatapa aww shucks ty  i peeked at my refsheet for the broad shape, and i've seen one or the other fit male body over the years...
@morgunkorn ahah, yes studying bodies is a great way to inform anatomy
