VulcanTouristDon't stumble into a process with a preconception. Have your kid evaluated for any potentially disabling behaviors, regardless of label. Personally, I'd shy away from any for-profit business that specializes in specific diagnoses as opposed to holistic evaluation. Would you take your car to a mechanic who only diagnosed and replaced radiators and nothing else?
Thank you for the message, however i dont think i agree with you. With GP they will be putting a referral only for ADHD assessment. During the appointment we were told if my child presents other symptoms the practitioner will advise to be referred for this other narrative for example autism (the other most common together linked with adhd . )
Plus on top of that all the private or most of the private practitioners are the same ones that give few hours to NHS
