I picked a bunch of veg and flowers. Now that I’m home and have refilled the vases I just want to chill and drink water. I don’t mind heat but this humidity makes me sleepy and want to riot all at once 🙃

Hoping by the end of the season I’ll have enough dried strawflowers and statice to make bouquets as gifts 🤞 The ones on the right hand side have been drying for a week

The colour of those purple cauliflower (?) is pretty amazing.

@yvan these are some of my first tbh, the purple ones are growing well but my runners haven’t been pollinating well - they’re in a more exposed position so maybe the bees don’t like it.

The cauliflowers are ‘depurple’, an f1 variety. After trying a few varieties these are my fave as I find them fuss free and the colour is beautiful. I like air frying / roasting them as the colour intensifies
