Today, crews are working on the last remaining heat along the fire line and working on areas identified by the PalmIR (specialized infrared units). Crews continue to grid and patrol along the fire lines for any remaining heat areas that might have been missed. Remaining hoses and pumps that were used to aid in containment are being dismantled and backhauled to fire camp, to be organized and returned to fire cache. Suppression dozer and handlines, where not critical to containment needs, will continue to be repaired and allowed to return to its natural state.

Crews will continue to demobilize from the incident as containment continues to rise. These crews will be either returning to their local district or reassigned to other fires. The fire camps will be consolidating, in preparation for Pioneer Day events in Davenport and to limit impact as much as possible for the festivities.

The crew is working with the local district in preparation for transition to a type 4 team that will take management of the fire. Resource and equipment needs are being evaluated and will stay on the incident after the type 3 team disbands.

Evacuations and Closures: Level 3 evacuations remain in effect for areas within the fire perimeter. All other areas have been dropped. Lincoln County Sheriff’s office will continue to update evacuation zones and provide notice by phone within effected areas or by visiting the Lincoln County Sheriff's Facebook page.

Weather: High 92/Low 58: Generally quiet and dry weather is expected through Thursday. Winds will increase for Friday and Friday evening and will be coupled with continued dry surface conditions, increasing fire weather concerns at the fire location.
