The neighbor got a visit from code enforcement today. I didn't do it! But the neighbor probably thinks I am the person that reported! In all fairness, the person is in violation for

1)uninsured vehicle on street
2)unregistered car parked on street
3)inoperable vehicle on street
4) vehicle parked in wrong direction

The car effectively makes the section of the street one-way at a time.

I casually mentioned the annoyance to a friend as a friend. I did not make a request for any action. Did I mention the friend works for the county? The friend looked at the code enforcement hierarchy and emailed someone higher up in the hierarchy. Code enforcement came out the same day.

They informed the neighbor of a timeliness in which he must resolve these issues. I didn't know anything happened until the rumble of the car starting shook the house.

I jumped on the security camera to see what the fuss was. He was trying to jump-start the car. I mentioned it to the friend. The friend asked if I saw the email they forwarded. They had sent me a copy of the email that was sent to the county.

He failed to actually move the car. Not sure if it was because of the two flat tires or something else. But now the clock is ticking. He must move it or get ticketed.

I was once again started by the sudden and unexpected loud rumble of that vehicle parked across from my driveway. It took dude 6 minutes, technically moved the car. But it is to the same position across from my driveway. This doesn't resolve the issue.
