Our *neigh*borhood has many many horse properties but very few horses (fewer and fewer over time). Yesterday, we noticed Stripe, who is a very good horse, and who is clearly the last one from what used to be a much larger operation.

Checking out the front yard, a car pulls up. It's D, and before I know it he approaches with an arm full of cartons. And a big smile.
Seven dozen gifted eggs.
We'll give a bunch to neighbors and keep a dozen or two.
And it all started because D figured out a few years ago why the empty lot he takes care of for an absent relative was no longer full of trash.
