Since the 21st century USA democratic party has shown they will throw out politicians for even the slightest gender or sexual provocation, it's not them holding the releases up. It would be those 'holier than thou' and 'my poop doesn't stink' people. No matter what country they reside in.

@Strandjunker Hillary's emails were illegally obtained, but should have been released anyways. I want to know what the people in power are doing and why they are doing it. Ellsberg, Snowden, Manning, and Winner et al. have shown the need for more transparency no matter the source.

My biggest question is, why didn't Biden release the Epstein files, especially if they would have been as devastating to Trump as everyone assumes? Are both parties involved in the cover-up?

... Because Trump would have claimed they were fake and told everyone it was more evidence that Biden was trying to sabotage him. The electorate to whom this subject would matter would believe him.

Maybe you didn't notice, but the first time Biden even suggested taxing the rich, every billionaire owned paper on the planet started screaming about how old he was and wouldn't shut up until the DNC replaced him.

@Orb2069 @Strandjunker The reaction of Trump and his followers (who now seem rather upset at not getting the evidence) would be a weak excuse for not letting the public know. Could have been done in early 2021, well before any election.

@noodlemaz @Strandjunker Even without victim names a good victim statement would include details like time and date, location, names of other people who they interacted with (who may be innocent or who may be unindicted and just presumed innocent). These clues can lead a determined investigator to be able to deduce the victim's identity. Redact all that and it looks like something nefarious is being covered up even when the redactions are made in good faith.
