Proof that she is as ‘out of her league’ as Trump is!
I think maybe Noem has figured out how to put her foot in her mouth while her head is still up her ass.
Maybe yoga?
@GottaLaff
Astonishing (and fascistic) how she speaks words at the same time as she empties out their content.
Yup. It's all about cruelty and making sure that people completely lose all trust in the government. That way private industry can take over everything, and they can let those the regime deems unworthy die. Pretty dark, and there are still a lot more people who don't want this than do. We can still stop this madness if we keep collectively pushing back and calling them out for what they are doing. It's exhausting, but necessary.
@goodreedAJ Weaken citizens in order to more easily control them, yes.
And YES to the rest!!!
I beg to disagree. It's an excuse, pushing the buck up to the Oval Office.(Although it no longer stops there)
Surely she is not responsible for the debacle, the boss made her do it.
Cuts to essential workers, and the weekend off for golfing, because natural disasters don't work on the weekend, either?
Texas is an oligarchy, not a democracy.
That model of public corruption became federal with Trump.
Trump's billionaires believe in private profits & public losses.
They think the same ideology should apply to public services.
Private state profits - states with no taxes, so billionaires get & stay rich fast
Public losses - the federal government pays for the natural disasters caused by the Texas fossil fuel industry.
