Some days I feel the weight of knowing how much my family depends on me.
Today is one of those days.
I know better but that doesn't matter.
When I picked up our mail there was an insurance cancellation notice for my husband's Medicare supplement plan. I had updated our payment information but somehow it wasn't recorded by our agent.
A reminder that I literally can't miss a trick.
Summer says what we need is a distraction. So she brought me an empty pot in case I want to work in the garden.
She makes me smile while I drop my shoulders and breathe deep.
The feelings of love and contentment I lost momentarily were there all along. I just needed Summer to help me find them again.
She says no problem.
