Sablebadger@rooster my kids school is a hot bed is this sort of thing, and the school is just fine with it. Of course it's an alternative school, and we live deep in liberal Seattle territory...
My kid identifies girl, but is male presenting has a crush on another kid at school who identifies male, but female presenting and they are currently NOT dating... But spend lots of time together watch movies and go get food together...
Not dating tho... Lol
GinevraCat@rooster And any part of their identity too! Some colleagues were so worried when one of our students started wearing the hijab. It lasted 6 months, she decided it wasn't for her at this time, she stopped. Not a big deal. That questioning and experimenting is healthy and adults should hold safe and supportive space for it.

Absolutely. Kid the Younger has tested the waters of a lot of different identities. A lot of both Kids’ schoolmates are Queer in different ways. Kid the Elder is 100% cis-straight, but somehow those are the friends he made. 🤷♀️
