I expect this kind of measures to have similar effect as cookie policies in EU: they won't help general public to protect their identity, prevent profiling or keep data private. Instead, they make services unusable and probably increase the price of the profiling data causing development of more innovative ways to profile people.
Fluffy Kitty Cat@Em0nM4stodon the point is to isolate vulnerable children so they can be abused by their parents and to gather data on which adults belong to minorities to persecute. KOSA is a pro-child abuse bill and don't be afraid to say it
jo@Em0nM4stodon Age verification requirements are actually good, since porn companies would rather block themselves in protest than comply. (see: HB 1181 in Texas)
And less sexual exploitation is a good thing.
