I'm with the British Medical Association here. Genocide enabler Palantir should be nowhere near our NHS.

Palantir accuses UK doctors of choosing ‘ideology over patient interest’ in NHS data row

Tech firm’s chief, Louis Mosley, dismisses fears that contract ‘threatens to undermine public trust in NHS data systems’

@junesim63
I agree with the BMA too. I have grave concerns about Palantir . It is like a evil octopus whose tentacles are reaching deep into our organisations aided and abetted by our ridiculous and naive government.
Thank goodness for the BMA , the values of the NHS do not align with the values of Palantir and another system should be identified .

@MelSedds @junesim63
Palantir could equally have been called Hydra...
"Its products include a system called Gotham, which “supports soldiers with an AI-powered kill chain, seamlessly and responsibly integrating target identification”.
Do we really want this sort of company dealing with NHS data?
I don't, and I for one plan to withhold as much information as I can from my GP, a situation I don't relish being in.
Good on the BMA for raising suspicions.
@junesim63 It's almost like the primary "ideology" of the medical profession is "doing what's best for patients" not "forking over patient's data to Palantir."
@junesim63 first the COI I am a member of the BMA and have been an elected representative.
In general, I suspect Doctors as a group are more interested in patients welfare than anything else. How else do you explain the extraordinary unpaid overtime they do, and the fact they turn up to work despite their employers treating them like dirt!
Plantir on the other hand exists only to make it's shareholders rich or even richer. Any public benefit is an accidental side effect of that primary aim.
@junesim63 *Mosley*, really? Lol
@dtxoz He's the grandson of Oswald Mosley.

@junesim63 @dtxoz

Oh, so it *is* worse than the universe pulling a bad joke. It’s just straight up familial fascism.

@dtxoz @junesim63
You know, people have said that this last decade has all been a bad joke, and then you see that company name in correlation with *that* last name, doing what they’re doing, and you almost have to wonder if the universe really is pulling a fast one on us.

But yeah, keep Palantir out of your NHS if you’re able! Good luck.

@junesim63

a company that chooses the ideology of profit over lives, is shocked that there exist people who choose lives over profit!

Yes that is how fooked up our world currently is.

@junesim63 I absolutely do not trust Palantir.

@junesim63 The recent Committee meeting re Palantir's UK gov contracts can be viewed at https://parliamentlive.tv/event/index/1b90adcc-914a-467d-afc0-ac71aab79ec6?in=09:43:02

An interesting bit towards the end https://parliamentlive.tv/event/index/1b90adcc-914a-467d-afc0-ac71aab79ec6?in=10:30:00 has questions by Emily Darlington MP & Kit Malthouse MP regarding the general suitability of Palantir.

(UK head) Louis Mosley gives clear answers on the current state of affairs, but despite his protests that the local arm of Palantir is more balanced, the parent company will undoubtably set the moral compass 😱

Thanks. Boosted.

@junesim63

The idea that Palantír is concerned about patient interest is joke. These are fascist running this show there. They’re not interested in patient interest.

IBM helped the Nazis by keeping records of the holocaust

@junesim63 @palantir seems to be projecting. Such a far right trait. It is they who have the ideology over patient interest. They are not interested in patients other than as the product for monetisation.
