OH: if you:

- offer an ed25519-sk key
- have an ed25519-sk key registered on your account
- speak of ed25519-sk in anything but the quietest voice

the gerrit daemons will come and get you

idk if any other #gerrit admins are having fun with their 3.12 upgrade but we sure are. https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/430338406

@leftpaddotpy wait, gerrit is java?

o_o

i just assumed it was golang

@kouhai nah it's too old to be go

honestly i prefer it VASTLY over golang. i hate dealing with go so much. please give me enterprise Java. it works. it isn't that bad. it doesn't feel like Rob Pike is personally looking down on you.

@leftpaddotpy @kouhai Enterprise Java is predictable and not stuck in certain oddly specific organisation specific choices

@leftpaddotpy you see when an ed25519-sk key and Gerrit love each other very much...

Your workflow fucking explodes

@Lunaphied i think the daemon is the thing doing the exploding by throwing an exception and throwing the connection on the floor.
@leftpaddotpy yeah but consider: my workflow involves me not having to spend time debugging Gerrit instead of the work I'm supposed to do
