Don't use the "Change my Mind" meme with Stephen Crowder for anything.

He is a racist and a homophobe who abused his ex wife while she was pregnant with their kids. Fuck that guy and find a better meme.

@undefined @tante

Geordie always comes through in a nick of time when all seems lost.

@jollyorc @tante Gordi La Forge > Drake
@jollyorc @tante why is the meme with the guy with an orange jacket not good to use?
@FelisCatus @tante he's not convicted, AFAIK, but Drake isn't very interested in consent apparently, to put it mildly.
@tante I mean it’s a pretty good signifier that you don’t want to change your mind. After all he never changed his mind… the more I think about it, the more meta it becomes.
@hiiaminfi yeah, like, I really wouldn't want to debate most of the people using that format in the first place
@tante
@tante Rightfully stated. I used to love that meme until I found out. Never touched it since!
@gimulnautti @tante I always just assumed he was one of that type of smug asshole. Didn't actually know. Odds were just very high. There's not a lot of variation in the kind of person that comes at everyone like that.

@tante

I'm so clueless that I only learned last year who Crowder was. Previously, I thought that meme was of Ty Burrell as Phil from Modern Family. 😆

@jaimeJ @tante Just learned, at now o'clock

@hosford42 @tante

I feel better knowing that I wasn't the only one.

@tante had no idea who the guy was, thanks for the heads up. Won’t use that meme again now.
@tante really **** that guy

@tante Should I go looking for an appropriate Star Trek substitute or are we more thinking it's a good time to let the whole memetic construct take the bench?

I've been quite keen for awhile on how this one co-opted its predecessor.
