Everyone’s always talking about tach debt. But what about conference debt?? I’ve only caught 38% of #pyconus2025 talks, #SciPy2025 starts tomorrow, and then #europython2025 in less than 180 hours 😫

@ucodery I usually open all talks I want to watch in browser tabs and wait for it to crash, lose everything, and call it done.

Works for reading materials too, like blog posts and tech docs.

@ocefpaf that’s worked for me every time I collect some research papers. It’s yet to work in my email backlog, however hard I try.

@ucodery for that you need kids, maybe a cat can help? My kid was able to delete all my emails once by hitting the keyboard randomly. Sadly I recovered them all from the trash folder :-/

@ucodery I always hope they upload the videos somewhere like YouTube with a nice playlist so can watch in free time or while travelling
