As you might have read: Mastodon v4.4.0 has been released !

This is a new major release with a big changelog and hefty upgrade process, so we'll wait a bit before upgrading, contrary to previous v4.3.x upgrade patches.

When we upgrade to v4.4.0 we'll also upgrade the backend servers and that will cause a longer downtime.

Our test server is already running the new v4.4.0 code so we'll see how that one runs.
